Help finding Push pop-up overflow

I bought this faucet two weeks ago from amazon

My plumber came to the house today to remove the toilet. He looked in the box that the faucet came in and the drain assembly is not included. I went on the net and am having a terrible time finding the chrome drain assembly, #RP52487. faucetdepot.com had it but they said it would take at least 3 weeks to get it. I need it asap. It looks like this drain may have been discontinued. Can anyone give me pointers about maybe finding one that would go with the new faucet?

There will be nothing special about the drain, other than the finish, which will be easily matched.

There is no lever on the above faucet to push or pull the drain open or closed. So if there is nothing different about the drain, how would it be opened and closed?

Because the "pop-up" is similar to that of the "step-toe" available for tubs.
The solution is to find a push to set and release from another mfg., with the same finish.
