Will this clog my sewer line?

By accident, I flushed a plastic nut and bolt down the toilet (the one used to hold the toilet seat down). The plastic screw is maybe 3 1/2 inches long. Will this flush through my sewer line over time or will it present a clogging problem? Any help/comments to put me at ease?

It should make it through if it fod not get caught in the trap ult in to the bowl.

You should know pretty quickly if it is there since it will snag TP and usually clog pretty quickly (like almost the next time it is used).

They are usually nylon, and while some grades of nylon swell from prolonged water immersion, it is not a huge amount of swelling (just enough to ruin threads and gear teeth).
