Well Expansion Tank (Irene)

I was one of thousands impacted by a power outage for many days by TS Irene. In that time, I used up all the pressured water from my well expansion tank. Now that we have had power for a week, things seems to be fine with me doing nothing except changing the GAC filter and bleeding it. Do I need to do anything to the expansion tank? First time in 10 years its been emptied.

If your tank is a precharged bladder type, no need to do anything. That type can be identified by the air valve, much like an automobile tire.

Thanks, Bus. It's a Welltrol with an air valve like you described.
