Garbage disposal problem

Hi, We have a double sink in our kitchen with a garbage disposal in one side. Here is the problem, when I run the disposal the dirty water comes up into the other sink. Is it connected incorrectly? If so how do I solve this problem. Your help is appreciated. Thanks

The first thing to check is if the corrected baffled T was used to join the sink drain line to the GD drain line.
