I would like to replace the ugly faucet on my bathroom vanity--which has a slant edge back. Aside from finding the right configuration of spout (length, etc.), are there any other complications to putting a centerset on a slant edge?

The current faucet looks like a centerset, but its metal base is at an angle. I have found models for slant edge vanities, but they are no more attractive than the one on there. I see tons of centersets I like, but none have slanted bases. Any guidance would be appreciated.
