How long has the RO been in service?

When was the last time you changed the filters?

Has the membrane ever been changed?

Is the RO treating soft water or hard water?

Are you on a water system or a well?

RO has been in service for about 3 years.

Filters were changed on schedule. In between changes right now.

I believe the membrane has been changed. Not absolutely sure. I do know that the recommmended service is being adhered to.

It is treating hard water.

We are on city water.

This is a Hellandbrand RO system. I called the installer and they tell me that the system discharges about 2 gallons of water for every 1 gallon of filtered water. So it does put out a lot of water from the black tube. I checked after not using the system overnight and the black tube has stopped draining. Everything seems consistent with the system working as expected.
