| Hello experts, I'm preparing to install a nice new white drop-in acrylic tub which is designed so that the faucet and spout can be mounted on the deck of the tub itself.
Does the regular-old oil-based plumber's putty stain acrylic? I know that some natural stone countertops will be stained by it and I don't want the tub to look like s**t after a few years when the oil leaches out around the escutcheons, overflow, and drain. Thanks in advance for your help. |
