Need to adjust Moen faucet or what ?

Moen bathroom faucet, 2 lever handles.

All of a sudden the hot water side lever isn't adjusted properly, worked well for a year but;

It turns off but it happens just off of the lever being totally shut.... partially on.

What do I need to do and Does the cap on the top of the handle pop off or screw off??

The little cap probably pops off. Screw underneath.

Have you seen one that still run's a little with handle in the shut position?? But to totally shut the water off, one has to move the handle a little bit to the on position for it to turn off --- and if I move it further on it operates ok.

It's just a pain to turn totally off.

Call Moen. It probably needs a new cartridge and they'll send you one for free.

I emailed Moen.

I popped the cap off -- got the screw out and handle off but there No adjustment that I can see so a cartridge is needed I assume.
