| I just replaced our garden faucet and now I have an awful time trying to turn it off or on. Is there some way to make it easier to turn the knob??
Much Thanks

Loosen the packing nut on the valve stem.

I replaced mine with a ball valve, 1/4 turn for on and off, that is a lot easier than turn, turn........

Thank you for your suggestions.I like the ball valve 1/4 turn. It will make it easier for my elderly mother to use too! Thanks again Julie

If you replace the original packing with Teflon packing it will be very easy to turn the knob.
