Replacing tub with shower

We want to redo one of our bathrooms and replace the current old cast iron tub with a new shower stall. Is it possible to buy a shower pan/base with the drain opening located over the current drain opening from the tub? It would help not to have to move the drain opening if possible.

You'll find that there is a more troubling issue.

The shower drain will be 2".
