| Here is a pic of a valve our inspector wants rotated. Is this just a compression fitting I can loosen and twist the valve? It runs from our geothermal desuperheater to the water heater.
If so, should I turn off the unit, close the valve at water heater, and only loosen enough to twist? |
Here is a link that might be useful: Picture of the valve

| Is this a plumbing/heating inspector or a "home inspector"? |

| Home inspector. It's inconvenient to get filter out the way the handle faces. 90 degree turn would help a lot |

| The joints to the pipe may not seal again if they are loosed and the valve rotated. Are you the seller? As long as the filter can be replaced it is a cosmetic issue. |
