Grey Water Pump Install

I am installing a Saniflo - Saniswift grey water pump in my basement. The pump will only operate a laundry sink used for washing bottles and carboys. As required I will be venting the pump. But my question is, if the sink is draining directly into the pump with a distance of about 18Ã¢ÂÂ from p-trap to pump, do I still need a vent on the sink?

On the sink,no,but unless the pump is running 100% of time sink is draining,the sump on the pump end must be vented. Saniflo has a help desk. I reccomend you take advantage of it by showing them your system layout.
