Pipe size and shower water pressure

I have a washer, shower and sink together.

I plumbed 3/4Ã¢ÂÂ to there so that I could take the 1/2Ã¢ÂÂwasher and shower off it and make sure there was no pressure drop.

The plumber choked the 3/4Ã¢ÂÂ down to a 1/2Ã¢ÂÂ and then ran all 3 off the 1/2Ã¢ÂÂ.

I expected a 3/4 to 1/2 inch T with washer and shower/sink each connected directly to the 3/4.

I thought that this arrangement might not keep the pressure in the shower steady when the washer suddenly asks for max hot water.

Does this make any difference that he choked the 3/4 to 1/2 instead of taking them directly off the 3/4?

Yea,,you have a significant loss.... 0.0665psi/ft x the length of the run.
