Kinetico K-60 Brine Tank Float Height

We have a Kinetico K-60, which is about 10 years old. The head was serviced by a licensed tech, who replaced some O-rings and some plastic pieces, but the water remained hard. So, we replaced the resin, cleaned the brine tank, and installed 2 "big blue" filters in series before the softener. Now, it appears that no salt has been used and it has been about 3 months. The water does not seem soft. We believe the height of the float in the brine tank may have been moved during the cleaning, it is at the 2 mark right now, we think. Our water hardness is 20 g.p.g, iron content 2 p.p.m. and there is a #4 disk in the head. What height should the float cup be, and is there anything else we may need to do? Thanks for the help.
