 o
Braided water hose leaking at crimp connection

Posted by honeydothis (My Page) on

I connected the braided hoses to the hot and cold water supply and the lines where too short, but I forced the connection anyway and pinched the end at the crimp and water is dripping now. I have a waterfall type faucet and the hoses go into the unit that I cannot access. I tried to take it apart to remove the old hoses, but I just cannot get to the other end to unscrew them. Is there anything I can do to repair the leak like cut and crimp on a new connector or any other ideas? Everyone's help is greatly appreciated.
