Just got water test results back for lab: results= mg/l, iron.359, hardness 308.0, pH7.29, TDS 410. flow rate 11gpm. Lots of info out there whats the story on Filox, manox, prylox , terminox, is chlorine backwash for iron filter good, which fleck head is needed. what capacity softener is good etc. 3 people, two 1/2 baths. Are there concerns about backwashing into septic system?

City water or private well?

Clear-water iron or particulate iron?

Is that iron number 359 or 0.359?

Any high water use fixtures, such as a jetted tub or multi-head shower?

Any odor or color in in your water?

RE: High Iron Hard water

My head is spinning. I have been looking at different systems offered by online stores like e-watertreatmentchemicals, they sell Raindance systems, also Quality Water Treatment inc, they offer twin tank system Fleck Twin Demand 9000 Model 90-16M-16, and Budget water.com. Anyone with any Ideas on these online stores? We live in a small town our only option here is Culligan, kinda spendy. Any thoughts Thanks
