Hi all, I am putting in a new tub; I have bought a new plastic waste/overflow kit with brushed nickel 'toe tap' style drain plug. My existing trap and drain pipe are 1.5" pvc.

How do I connect the 1.5" plastic drain from the kit to the 1.5" pvc? Without using any type of adapter the plastic "T" from the kit fits down into a piece of 1.5" pvc, but very loosely. Is there an adapter? can you glue plastic to pvc? I guess I could just build a whole new trap etc out of pvc but I couldn't find any of the small little elbow pcs that connect to the tub. Any suggestions?
