| Hi all, I am remodelling the kitchen and need to remove a wall to give more space, unfortunately my 40 gallon gas hot water heater will need to be moved.
can I build a 32inch square enclosure in my porch and move it outside? Also the roof of the porch is metal so rather than make a big hole in it can I take the exhaust flu out the side of the porch via a 90 degree bend and cap it outside rather than through the roof? All help with code will be greatful Regards Alan |

| Without knowing you location (the USA is pretty big) there is no way to asses the possibility of freezing damaging the water heater or lines. |
