I'm not a plumber, but most older toilets had the model number as part of the casting, so should be somewhere on the toilet. The ventaway model # should start with a 'V'

Great! I was pretty sure mine was the non-ventaway version, but I wanted to be sure. My tank lid says 4052 and is dated 1949 (base says "Standard") and that 4052 model came in both versions. Inside the tank, the numbers aren't really readable. I'm moving under the assumption I have the standard version.
