For me, my rather remote rural location requires significant travel distances to buy parts. Significant time also. Needed a new seal for a Fluidmaster 400A. 14 miles round trip to the nearest hardware store to buy PlumbPak #PP830-17, the only choice they offered. Correct part, but so poorly made that it did not work.
Headed out to Lowes. All they had was the same PlumbPak and I was unwilling to buy another of those. Luckily Home Depot had the Fluidmaster bramd part and it worked perfectly. That round trip was only 45 miles.
Nothing good to say about PlumbPak at this time.
