| We have just purchased a home that has never been lived in. It has not been finished. Some things have been started and not completed.
The tub has a built in waterfall spout. So, my question is do I have to purchase the faucet set with the spout and just not use the spout? Is there any brand that sells with out the spout? I would love to have a handheld shower but, the diverter usually comes on the spout top. Is there anyway to plumb this without having two spouts on the tub?

| Yes, it's possible. A wall mounted 2-valve unit with a center tub/shower diverter control knob is a standard configuration. You can also get a single-handle mixing valve that feeds a separate tub/shower diverter valve. An online search for 'plumbing supplies' will give you an idea of what is available. |
