extension for rain shower head

I am having some trouble finding a extension to go from the ceiling to my rain shower head. I have ten ft ceilings so i was thinking i would need a 3 ft extension or at least 2 ft. Any ideas as to where to look? Was thinkijg about buying a stainless steel pipe and having it threaded. Has anyone ever done that? Fixtures are satin nickle if that helps.

The pipe is usually brass or steel and plated.

Go to a commercial Plumbing supply house,

They have chrome plated nipples from 1/2" to 6" graduating by 1/2" and precut chrome plated and threaded pipes, 12" 14" 16" 18" 20" 24" 30" & 36".

These pipes and nipples are primarily used when installing commercial hospital or kitchen equipment.
