I thinking about remodeling my bedroom bathroom which has a fixed showhead and a two handle water valve setup. I want to convert it into a slidebar mounted handshower set with a wall elbow for handshower and a single handle water control valve.

I been looking for the hardware and was wonder if it would be costly to convert the fixed shower arm into an wall elbow or is that very simple to do; since the plumber will have to redo the pipes from dual to single valve. Not sure about the costs.

Secondly, there seems to be no package for having the shower slidebar mounted handshower and the trim package and valve unless you go to the high end products which includes everything.

Does Kohler or American Standard have anything less then $1K? I looking for the lowest cost in chrome and is contemporary! Thanks.
