My shower stall (the fiberglass kind with a glass door) is fine, yet the rubber underneath the glass door is broken. I went to a home improvement store and asked for the replacement part for the rubber. I was told by a young (nothing against young people) store representative that each shower stall is different. There is not a standard rubber thing made for a glass door. I need to find out the manufacturer who made the shower stall in order to get the part. If I don't know the manufacturer, then it's easier to replace the entire shower stall. I was stunned, because a rubber like that should be easily replaced. Who would replace the entire shower stall because the rubber is broken.

Is it true? The rubber seems to be such a common part that needs to be replaced quite often due to the wear and tear.
