Anyone successful at removing iron from well water?

Hi everyone,
In researching best way to treat well water to remove iron I have come across different methodologies but would like to know what has worked for you??

    Have you considered shock chlorination of your well? It has to be repeated on a periodic basis but does work. See link below:
