Grohe Lady Lux faucet question

Posted by sharff (My Page) on

I have a Grohe Lady Lux Cafe kitchen faucet (33-755) in an existing cast iron sink.

I can't figure out how the faucet is removed (or installed for that matter).

It appears that you would spin part of the faucet above the sink to unscrew the horse shoe shape nut below the sink but I don't know what to take apart to get to the point where I can start unscrewing.

Can anyone tell me how to remove this faucet from the existing sink (and then I'll understand how to reinstall it in the new sink)?

Thanks,

Al Sharff

Yes, disconnect the water connections. Pull up on the "gooseneck" of the spout. That will expose a screw head that you turn to lower the horseshoe nut.

There is a special tool to take apart the faucet. The hose has a quick disconnect that will pull apart. Then pull of the top of the spout and place the Grohe tool in the faucet and turn it and it will loosen up.
If you need the part/tool call Grohe at 1-800-444-7643

Here is a link that might be useful: Grohe Faucets
