| My old oil fired hot water boiler is failing rapidly, of course in the middle of the worst winter here in New York in recent memory. I found a new Burnham RSA-85 steel boiler (less oil burner) for $600. This sounds awfully cheap. Anyone familiar with that brand and model? It uses a Beckett AFG burner, which I would swap off my old boiler (replaced that only last year).
I know cast iron last longer than steel, but this is an emergency, I'm strapped for cash right now, and I'll only be living in my house for another 3 years. I just don't want to install a piece of junk. Rob |
