Replacing black steam condensate return pipe

I want to replace a several foot length of black steam condensate return pipe where it has been damaged. I figure I can remove the damaged length by hacksawing or using an abrasive cutting wheel. How do I attach the replacement length to the unthreaded ends of the original pipe? It is possible to solder or braze this pipe?
