Our galvanize pipe leaked a few days ago in the ceiling and water pour down into our kitchen, a general construction person came help us patch the leak, we are thankful for his help and we know this is temporary. May I know how long will this patch buy time before we can replace the entire section of all the pipe. What is the better way than this patch if you know that will give us more time to think about replacing all sections of the pipes in the attic because they are 40 years old. We know that it will be pretty expensive. We don't want a leak again because it's too much clean up work and damage. Thanks.
