System:
I have a green sand filter with a 5600sxt fleck control valve and pot perm for regen for Iron.
I also have a layne POE system for arsenic.
The issue. The layne media is very expensive and the green sand filter does a decent job of lowering the arsenic levels and helping to preserve the layne media. My house originally tested around 210ppb for arsenic. However it was reduced to about 11ppb by the time the water hit tank 1 on my layne system. Every 6 months layne tests it and the amount coming in to the layne system is rising 11ppb, 56ppb, 270ppb. At this rate the layne media is going to make me broke if I can drop the levels before it comes in.
