Frustrated Bathtub drip

I had a small drip in my bathtub faucet so i went ahead and changed the cartridge(unreal what it took to get that cartridge out and yes i removed the clip) i reinstalled everything and when i turn the faucet handle facing down towards the tub to the off position it feels like its going slight past where it should stop and the water runs like in the picture. If i turn the handle a little bit back towards the right the water stops 99.9 percent but still the same drip any suggestions?

So if you turn it back a bit, it does stop?

At the point where it stops, try removing the handle, and reinstalling it "one notch over" on the threading. Worth a shot, anyhow.

If i turn it back just a little it stops but has a very small drip 1 drop every minute about. I am selling my house and the buyers want it fixed i replaced the cartridge and the same thing happens. I have changed many faucets and never had this happen.

Ok, maybe it's the white ring that gets removed and turned one notch to adjust the "stop".

Option B is to reinstall the cartridge. Sometimes that clears it up. (Was there any grit in there when the cartridge was removed?)

Option C: Maybe it's defective. Take it back and get a new one.

It had this problem before i replaced the cartridge i was hoping that would have cleared it up. I did remove the white plastic and move it also tried moving the handle to another notch no luck.
