Leaking dishwasher and can't get rid of suds

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help with the problem we are having. Our Kenmore dishwasher (Model 655.13112K701) has started leaking during the wash cycle. I think I used too much powdered detergent a few times. It started leaking out from under the door just above the toe kick. It has a huge amount of bubbles, even though I drain it. I have poured in cold water and vinegar several times and drained it. Even when I run just the quick rinse cycle it still has lots of soap suds even though I have not added detergent. I am using Seventh Generation Auto Dishwasher Powder and the rinse aid is now empty. I only put in a few teaspoons last cycle, but you would think it was much more.
I am not positive it is the soap issue causing the leak, but there is definitely an issue with the suds.

Any ideas???

I've never used Seventh Generation but I haven't noticed an appreciable amount of suds with mainstream products. Have you thought about trying a different product just to see what happens?

I had a problem years ago with a dishwasher door gasket leaking and discovered that a couple of the holes in the spray arms had gotten clogged with little bits of stuff. Once I cleaned the holes everything was fine. All I can assume is the clogs changed the spray pattern enough to cause the problem. Might be worth a look before going through the trouble/expense of replacing the gasket.

Thanks for your reply. I think somehow, my hand liquid dishwashing soap got put into the rinse aid dispenser. I have having a hard time getting it out, but am almost there. I will also check the sprayer arm holes while I am at at.
