Help me remove old Grohe kitchen faucet?

Any ideas? I've called in a plea for help to our plumber, but I have all but just the last connection out so I hate to give up. It is a wide narrow nut and I can't get any purchase on it with a basin wrench or anything else I have here. The rigid metal lines are still connected to the bottom of the faucet and I am using them to torque the assembly out from inside the nut (yes, it is moving, not stuck anymore) but I just cannot get hold of the nut well enough to get it off the rest of the way. It is a weird shape and the sink in my way is not helping. Any ideas, or does it just take some tool my plumber will have but I don't?

I don't know how well you can see what I am working with from the faucet diagram, but I'll link it below. If you look at 6 - Mounting Set, it is the thing at the very bottom with the bottom line pointing to it, and I am trying to get it off that thick threaded thing sticking off the bottom of the body of the faucet.

Thanks very much --
