Im trying to remember if I saw a larger majesty palm because I think I did, but their definitely weren't too many large majesty palms. But the majesty palms I did see looked very healthy! Thanks, everyone. Still not sure why not ALL the pics are showing up, but too tired to figure it out tonight. dianalo, that's actually not a Domsjo. The Domsjo is a really nice sink, but I didn't like that it sat above the counter, so we paid the extra for a Belle Foret undermount farm sink. It was pricier and necessitated modifying the base cabinet and therefore doing a curtain underneath the sink instead of doors, but I'm really happy with it. I think I like the curtain better than I would have liked the doors. As for the tin backsplash ... it's a temporary fix. I like it a lot, and may yet decide to keep it, but the plan has always been to do white subway tile 2/3 of the way up the wall (basically to the height of the range hood). But for now, it's really functional, easy to clean, and gives a little visual interest to what might otherwise be a pretty boring little kitchen. And since it's a kitchen in a 1921 house, the tin "feels" right in the same way that the subway tile will "feel" right when we get around to doing it. It was only $200 and maybe an hour of work to do. I'll try to take some better pics that encompass more of the kitchen tomorrow. There's a "hutch" on the opposite wall that wasn't included in these pics. Thanks for looking! I hope it helps. If you want pics of anything else, let me know. When we started this, NO ONE had pics of Corian Rain Cloud, so I know how scary it can be to second guess yourself and wonder if you made the right call.

Oldhouse1 and Beekeeperswife - Thank you for sharing your photos - your kitchens are beautiful! I don't expect mine to compare to yours - we are just doing a much-needed and long-overdue update which will hopefully make our home more marketable when we sell it in a couple of years. So we're trying to keep our costs down as much as possible so that we don't overimprove for the neighborhood. The warmth of Cloud White comes through in your photos, and I really like it with your countertops and floors. I know that white cabinets are classic and timeless, and I always like them in other people's kitchens. I just don't know why I'm suddenly second guessing how it will look in mine. Maybe because I have had brown cabinets for 30 years, and white is such a big change....

Thanks again everyone....We travel around with our 5th wheel where ever hubby's job takes us...you will sooo love your chairs...I would like to get 2 more so when we have company at home or on the road we had a couple more...I thought the cloud pic was cool I took it out of the window going down the interstate blew my mind it turned out so well....more pics to come....love traveling with my hubby's job lol Stacy
