Most cats will not reach into water. A few will (I've heard of one that actually snagged a fish), but most won't. My cats sit on the edge of my pond a lot watching the fish or even drinking out of it. One of them has taken a few half hearted swats at the fish, but jerks back when his paw touches the water. One cat even fell into the pond once when a rock became unsteady and tipped into the water. She got back out really fast! I would leave the fish where they are and keep an eye on the cats when they're in the same room. When you're not around to watch them, just keep the cats locked out of the room with the pond.

I would and did. Have used one for a couple years and I don't know how to live without it now. On another forum a poll was recently conducted and the most common response was "I love mine", including my own.

PJ, those four nerve daisies are somethin' else. They popped right back up and kept blooming! Richard, first you show us an Elvis blue Christmas and now we know why they call it a 'blue' norther. Great photos. And you hardly had to step out the front door to get them. No mountains to climb like me ;-) Looks like you traveled a little farther to get the pictures on your links. Those are great!!!! But one of them showed me what your problem is -- you need to take down that "Welcome Winter" sign and bury it somewhere! If you don't then Carrie is gonna' come over and shoot it full of holes. LOL!
