how to turn off auto red correction in photoshop elements

I would normally use windows to import my photos, but since I had to delete my system and reinstall, I could not get auto play open. I like to import and delete from the disc. I decided to chance it with photoshop elements. I used the import. But, it began to "fix red eye" in all my photo, but there were not photos of people or even pet. These were photos of trees and things, Christmas lights.

Why photoshop elements fix red eye in photos of things without eyes? I was a bit mad, I had used the auto delete, but I can always take some more. There must be a way to turn off auto red correction. I could not find it.

If I can't figure this out, I have go into the folders and copy the photos from the card instead of importing. Or maybe I can windows 7 64 bit work on auto play with this card? There are lots of possibilities to get around this problem. I was just wondering how to turn off auto eye in elements 6. I never saw a need to update to level 10.

I can't stand the "organizer". I only use the editor. The organizer is like a separate program that one needs to import. If I could just import without ever opening the organizer. I would be happier.

My son taught me to Google technical problems. Usually you find lots of other people have had the same problem and sought and found the solution.

So I Googled your problem and found what looks like the fix.
