She's still pretty

After all these years, we sometimes forget that. I was coming out of a local Wallyworld yesterday morning and the sun was streaming through from the back and there was a breeze, and it just struck me how pretty "she" is and how lucky we are to wake up every day in such a wonderful country.

She is pretty. Looks like that one needs replacing, though.

Ole Glory...long may she wave.

Nice photo and a great eye to notice her beauty.

RE: She's still pretty

Yes indeed. She is beautiful.

I kind of like some tatters on a flag. Reminds us that what she stands for didn't come without cost.

I love it! I get choked up looking at. I spent three years in other countries for it!

The tattered look reminds me of the story behind how the "Star Spangled Banner" was written.

I suggest everyone read up on it, then read- not sing- the "Star Spangled Banner". It will all make sense. Guaranteed!

RE: She's still pretty

She is a "Grand old Flag"! May she ever wave over our country. But, the way things are going with all of the Chinese imports I'm afraid some day the Chinese flag will be waving here. I pray to God that never will happen but our country is a sinking ship.
