I have also been there as a side trip from Myrtle. It's a really nice place, but I hope it wasn't hit to hard by hurricanes last year to ruin it. I coulnt even go last year because we were evacuated. I might see you there depending on when you go, I'll be going next Saturday(16th I think) in the morning and maybe once sometime in the week. Matt

I am in myrtle beach and would like to get the names of some hardy plants (with color) that would survive near the oceanfront. i do have a sprinkler system in place but very few plants.......to be honest one knockout rose bush and two lantanas. Id do have shrubbery in place but no color other than a few hanging plants. I'd like to learn if anyone would offer me some suggestions. Any books, ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help.

Been to both, and been to VA Beach lots of times. For your needs, you don't want VA Beach--it's a prime hang out beach for college students. Not a lot of partying on the beach, but the main streets and some hotels can get raucus. Until we had kids, I greatly enjoyed VA Beach more than any of the others (Ocean City, Rehoboth, etc.). Now our needs are changing. To the Californians: This is the Atlantic. Beaches are completely different here. VA Beach actually has more waves than many of the other beaches because of it's location (at mouth of Cheaseapeake Bay). But it's not big surf country--that's why people go to CA to surf. The Atlantic is much rougher than the Pacific, but out on the ocean, not near the beaches (though there are exceptions). And it's neither dirty nor run down--it's just a resort town like most of the middle class resort towns on the mid Atlantic (they are all starting to look too much alike in my opinion). There are other types of beaches, like the Outer Banks (and Martha's Vineyard, I'm told) that are more about the beach and less about the beach attractions.

All I do is put my mouse arrow on the picure I want to post and wait for the codes to open...

Then I just put my arrow on the HTML CODE and "LEFT" click on the code.

(If you look real fast while you "LEFT" click you will see it change,and the word "COPY" flashes in the in the background of the code for about a second..)
Now you can paste the HTML code where you need to.. in your post.

Hi Lines that the way i used to do it for years now it will not work when i press my left button on my mouse global setting and about adobe flash player come up
i have find share this then go to find code then copy the code it is alot of problems like this i will try flickr much easyer

Myrtle Beach looks really good to me right now. We had 5 inches of snow yesterday and I finished clearing the drive and sidewalk at 10 pm last night. Helped my neighbor clear his drive; His snow blower quit after moving 10 ft.

My front stoop iced up from drippings off the roof.
