| we are on the Snake River, in Pine County. It flows into Cross Lake, then into the St. Croix on the MN/WI border, about 17 miles east of us.

| Thanks Joan. That is pretty country up there. A couple years ago DW and I went through there to Duluth for a long weekend. DW is from Galveston, TX so Lake Superior was big hit with her. A body of water to big to see across. Ron |

| I haven't been beyond Two Harbors in years. Long, long ago ('76) I went to Grand Marias and took the ferry out to Isle Royale for a week of backpacking. Fantastic scenery on both the drive there and the island. Ron |
