I have been taking pictures of my Sunday School class to put on a bulletin board for a special Sunday that is only a couple of weeks away. The little latch that keeps the memory card in place has broken and I can't use my camera. What can I do? The camera is a Kodak Easy Share Z712IS. I have not taken all of the children's pictures because they weren't present.

Boy, that sounds tough. I suppose you could "buy" a camera that uses the same type of card from WalMart, then return it within 30 days. Though that doesn't seem quite fair. Does anyone have a camera you can borrow? Can you use a paper clip or rubber band to hold the door shut? JoanMN

Scotch tape it

I found that by holding the door shut with one finger it will stay in place. I thought the camera wouldn't operate without the door latched, but it does. I found a lot of camera "doors" for sale on ebay. Must be they break easily. Thanks for your replies. I think the tape idea is the route to take. lol
