Annette,i also love the blooms onthe tillandsias.Most of mine are mounted on driftwood with some spagnum moss,and i have one i'm growing into a sphere by using one of those cocoa lined baskets,spagnum moss,it's almost completely around it now,and has been blooming these past few years. Here's a picture of it. I also grow spanish moss,used to have it on my australian tree fern,but we had a cold winter(by our standards here in S.calif. and it killed the tree fern.Broke my heart,iloved that tree.So now my spanish moss hangs on an empty plant hanger.I like that stuff also,don't know why,i guess just the way it hangs and drapes.DH not so much,he thinks it looks like something dead!! kathi

natal: I also love the Rose of Sharon bushes. I dug up a few sprouts from under this rose of sharon in the summer of 2008: and here's what the sprouts look like this year: It already reaches every bit of 5.5 to 6 ft tall and has been covered in blooms for most of the year. As far as the Nanho blue bfly bush, it was just planted July 4th weekend, so it hasn't got much bigger than what it was when I get it. Approx. 2 ft tall, by maybe 3.5 to 4 ft wide. But the majority of the branches lay towards the ground. There are maybe 2 or 3 branches on each bush that are standing "sort of" upright. Not sure if this is normal or not for a butterfly bush, but that is all I'm getting out of it this year so far. I've been away from this forum for a while so I didn't even know about the swap. Thanks, Bellsmom! I wish I could do that myself. I have MBR pics, but they're espresso maple in a dark bathroom. They're also a neat combination of cabs. :) And everyone for the compliments! I'm really happy with how they're coming out. It might take me forever to paint or stain, but in the meanwhile everything's going in them instead of boxes piled against the wall. I actually find the skinny, 4-drawer drawers useless. That's why I originally ordered 3-drawer. My plan, someday, is to do what I did with the (extra) cabinets in my MBR. I took out two drawers and one set of drawer glides. I cut out the face frame and put in a single deep drawer. Like the big ones on the 3-drawer. Then, I attached the drawer fronts back onto the big drawer so it looks just like it started. Deeper drawer are much more functional than 2.5" deep drawers. Now I can put stuff actually in them. With 18" cabinets, the drawers can only be 15" deep. Need all the space I can!
