After the wildfire...3 pictures...

in May on the Gunflint Trail, Grand Marais, MN. This is the gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Still lots of beauty left.

Those are beautiful photos, Joan. Always makes me sad when a fire destroys trees, but they say it is actually a necessary part of a healthy forest. Your photos show new growth coming back. The last photo of the pretty birch tree that somehow missed damage is very nice.

They are nice captures of the life showing amidst the after-fires! Glad to see it coming back...
