Looks like a gorgeous Sugar Maple in the top photo.

Just browsed your member page, Bean counter. Sounds like you're not too far from me (SE Wisconsin). I like the photo of the hose-in-hose daylily on your member page.

Julie, I'm only about 10-miles from the WI border. Just south of Beloit. Thanks for the id on the tree. I knew it was a maple, but didn't know which kind. I have maples in my yard that turn gold instead of red, I need to learn which they are.

Lianne and ronf, isn't that a strange little bridge? Very, very narrow.
