| I consider myself lucky if I get a few decent pics a year of Monarchs passing through here. I never considered raising my own subjects. Do you train them to sit still for you too? Ha. Great pics! Thanks for sharing them. |

| Thanks so much, I try to take photos of them in the early morning when it is too cool for them to fly away, it works most of the time. The camera I use for my butterfly shots is the first digital camera I ever bought, an Olympus 3000. I do love it but need to get a faster one now. I keep looking to find a newer version that would take just as good of macros as my older Olympus. I think I am wearing this one out. I know I am of the memory cards, smart media, they don't sell them in stores anymore, I have to buy them on Ebay. |
