It can't be Fall without a pile of leaves to play in, can it?

What makes you think of Fall?

It's still summer here, in the 90s. This is a rain tree, the only fall color I could find.

No such thing as fall here in Tampa... not that I can tell. :(

Maybe naked cedar trees, but that's a ways away for now.

Beautiful fall pictures, everyone! Ralph, your family home is lovely. Konrad, I'm jealous.......a crazy May freeze killed off all my apples this year. We usually have loads of them. Yours are gorgeous!

At my house, the roses put on a fall flush. This is Crimson Sky:

I've been out of town for a while.

Started to comment on each pic, but, they are all just great.

No "fresh" fall pics here yet. I was in Philly where I could have gotten some great ones... if about a week or 10 days later.

Most have seen my fall pics from earlier years, so, I'll just have to post to this thread when I have some "fall". I sure do appreciate getting some from those who are already enjoying it at their locales.

Keep'em coming!

This isn't at all typical for autumn, but it's the reality at my house right now: unexpected iris blooms (two clumps of them).

PS: Got my new camera a few minutes ago--woo hoo!!

alisande,

Wow, they so so pretty!

Ok, now to the serious stuff. What kind of camera did you get? :)

Thanks for asking! I'll start a new thread rather than hijack this one.
