| Going on a trip to California in October. If you could take only 1 lens with you, what would it be? I have put aside about 1500 for a new lens. Anything less would be used on memory cards. Mine are old. I love close ups and those of people. Not especially fond of photos over a large area such as a telephoto lens would offer but of course that would be nice if the opportunity arises. Opinions please and thank you in advance. |

| i've got a d70, what lens are you currently using? methinks i'd just use the 18-70mm but that's the only lens i have, got about $70 saved toward a second lens eventually LOL (lucky you!) |
