Wow you guys are really nice to say my greenhouse is a good thing. I appreciate it! If I lived in Sarasota and had a pool cage, it would look ***just like that***. Unfortunately, I live in Gainesville (where it is supposed to drop to 27, for ONE night, this Friday) and I have a pool, but not a CAGE. But, those photos DO give me some GREAT ideas for the greenhouse heh heh. The best and most mount friendly way I have found to mount bromeliads is to use wither old knee high panty hose to wrap over sphagnum moss, or aluminum electric fence wire, or the mesh bags that stuff like onions come in (knotted on each end with a fat pad of moss inside) and tied over the roots to the tree limb.

I know this is a year old, but I just want to let you know that this thread is one of the reasons I ended up trying Black Baccara and I'm so glad I did! The petals are so nice and thick, it stands up to our heat exceedingly well! And in a vase... oh my just stunning! It lasts so long! I am heat testing mine in a pulp pot near a very hot stone wall with southern exposure and it has been taking it quite well. It probably won't go here, I'm just deciding how much heat it can actually take. Gets some mildew, but that's it. The blooms haven't been crisping. Cut 3 days ago Today... has hardly even aged! This one looks a bit more red. They're just gorgeous. The petals are quite substantial! Mildew, but still pretty impressive for this deadly heat zone test area! I hope to find the right spot in my yard and that mine looks as amazing as yours someday!

KH - countertop is MSI Gray Lagoon quartz. Trish - everything? Custom cabinets. Inset painted White Dove perimeter and Jamestown Blue (BM) on island. Island top is walnut that we use a combo oil/wax on. It needs a refresh right now. Floors are white oak finished in 50/50 neutral/dark Pallmans Magic Oil hardwax Oil. Pendant lights I can’t remember now where I got them. Somewhere on the internet. :) Cabinet hardware is Top Knobs Kingsbridge pulls and knobs. Capital 36” range. Sink is a 33” Blanco Cerana. Faucet is a Blanco Culina. And tile info was already given. I think that’s everything!

Here are the Colorographies for all 3 colours from The Land of Color .com These colours belong to the Yellow Hue Family. Light French Gray will offer the greatest contrast in terms of Hue Family location + Value + Chroma, to Shoji White. But LFG also has a greater potential to colour shift blue in certain light situations too. So check & see if you like its appearance in the shadowy areas as well as in the light. (You may like the blueness should it occur for you, but you don’t need it as a surprise.) Repose Gray offers a more subtle contrast. It has a very similar Hue Family location. It has enough contrast to distinguish itself with Shoji White, but in a more gentle way. Note though, that Repose Gray has the potential to shift purple in certain imbalanced light. So again check how it appears on different walls in the different rooms, so you onow which side of its character you are likely to see. 🌈
