This morning I took my camera and strolled around the yard, here are a few shots.

I like the bee and moon!! Talk about getting into your work...that bee is covered and still digging for more!!

I also like celestial pics...clouds, lightning, sunrise, sunset, and of course...a Bad Moon Risin'....

Thanks! I would bet you can get some awesome shots of the stars, moon, sun, clouds and all from where you live cause your bio sounds like you have lots of land and wide open spaces. BTW, love your passengers in the truck! LOL!!

Don't have poison oak, but plenty of poison ivy. Luckily, I am not allergic, but my youngest son is. He was engulfed by smoke from a burn which included poison ivy. Was scarry. West gardener, I am sorry that your son is suffering from that stuff.

junglegal, all my property is high ground. The area that you see here and another,the chenille are planted in well drain areas and they are in shade,doing great. I also remember picking all kinds of fruits as a child. But there are not many wild fruits here in Silicon Valley. I bought a most delightful book called "A fine Dessert", that tells about how a dessert called "Blackberry Fool" was prepared from slavery to present time. I wish I could share the recipe, but it is copyrighted. I'm a foodie and I love the history of food. Lilo, I can see you picking wild berries, to me going to the store and buying frozen berries, and everything in between.
