Thanks for the replies so far. I looked these up online to get an idea, but I am going to write them all down to look at the paint store. (I live about 40 minutes from the Benjamin Moore paint store) I think the Sherwin Williams Queen Anne Lilac is really neat. It almost seems to go from pink to purple, which would work with what I am doing. I will have to hit the Sherwin Williams store also to see if it has too much tan and not enough gray. I have found some beautiful purples with the gray tone, but the pink is hard to find with gray in it. Thank you everyone for your suggestions, and please keep them coming. My three year old daughter knows she doesn't want these white walls much longer!

You guys are the best! She read your suggestions/comments/recommendations and I I am happy to announce that our little miss will be residing in a .........(drum roll please) Stonington Gray room!! DD did say it had a very slight blue undertone with the blind open but she is quite pleased with it. It is going to look even better when the furniture arrives this week and all the bedding and accesories are in. She is two hours away so all I have seen are cell phone pics, but I think it looks great. Kate and Jterrilynn - you are so right - the surrounding environment (light, trees, etc) definitely affect color. I will see if she can post a picture when she gets the room finished. She is much more tech savy that her mother :).

I am thinking of black door total height of door and black trim. I am not sure about the stupid boxes. Looking at trying scale down and then copy the window stones trim with molding and paint to match the stone on windows and columns. Also, add very simple wrought iron in black both on balconies and first level. The flower beds are being enlarged and 2 large trees have already been added. Also, gutters in black will be added.

Beth H, that is very true - not actual terra cotta tiles, we wanted tiles the color of terra cotta. These LOOKED warmer when samples were shown and until they were put up - then we saw they had a pinkish color not the warmer orange colors we wanted. Same with the glass trim we had requested glass tiles with warm browns, peach/orange, greens etc. but nope, didn't happen. Tried some greens they are not working. Also tried Behr Clay Pot - but not quite right, maybe too red? I believe the Behr Maple Glaze (which I LOVE) may be too orange BUT Caramel Latte may work - I will look into the BM Frosted Toffee and Coastal Trail to see if they will work. I appreciate everyone's suggestions. I purchased the shower curtain(hope it works), maybe once it is up it will be easier to come up with something.
