I think the shading caused by the tint would deter growth of submerged plants along with algae. I wonder if water lilies would sprout in the spring if tinted water limited the amout of sunshine reaching the plants.

I also have a cheating wife and I went through all the above. I would not give advice to anyone, but, I can share what I have found. The actual hurt diminishes in time. It doesn't completely go away. I made the mistake to immediately forgive my wife out of love, and according to her friend she took it as "I didn't love her enough to be mad at her". Your going to hear a lot of bull about it being half your fault. Unless you are a real bad guy, the problem is in her head. After time you will resent her. Not resent her for cheating, but actually resent having to "help her through her problems". If you don't have kids, dump her now! Life is too short to waste it on her. If you have kids, then do the counseling thing. Where am I after 4 years? I am tired of hearing about her being lonely. Her life is no different than mine, and I don't get that option. I am tired of compensating for what going on in-between her ears. I am not her mother or babysitter. When we have sex, in my head I still see her giving head to her first boyfriend, bouncing up and down on her second boyfriends lap, oral sex on her girlfriend, and going down on the last guy (friends boyfriend) for 3 hours because he had whiskey dick. Yes I made the mistake of asking for details. I used to love sex, now she repulses me. She is in a depression now and lives in bed when not working. I now have to live in a pig sty. Her nick name from her girl friends is "Fat, Drunk, Slut!" "Her" friends feel sorry for me. I am trying to figure out a way to leave her without effecting our kids. Lavender, I am intrigued by the similar house plan you posted ... but after looking at the plans similar to your suggestion, I'm wondering about the Tipton, which is a smaller version of it: It's very like my original plan, the Coleraine, but I also like this one. I'd be interested in your thoughts on these modifications: Bathroom wall pulled out to even out "bump" ... toilet moved ... closet enlarged /entrance moved ... I'd also remove one sink and put in a small linen closet across from the toilet. I like the bedroom layout. I don't care for the only position in which the bed could sit, but I could live with that. The great room is wider and only needs to allow a walkway on the back side, meaning it has a good bit more actual space. I'd add a porch across the back, which would open from both the master bedroom and the great room. Pretend I added 2' straight down the middle of the nook /kitchen /dining room, making them a comfortable size. I'd also bump the nook backwards a bit so the table wouldn't interfere with the walkway -- or maybe this should be a booth. These changes will also allow the dining room to have windows on two sides. I don't really love bay windows under porches; I think I'd shave that off to a flat wall ... the dining room would still be 11x13, but it'd turn the other direction. The red area represents a mudroom /pantry. I'm confused about the ceiling over the kitchen. The garage in blue moves to the right ... the arrows represent cars pulling into the front facing garage ... and the blue lines to the side are my attempt at stairs on the side. I do prefer this set-back garage and L-porch. So, what do y'all think? 'Cause, yeah, we're all house junkies. Yes, Red, I saw the layouts of the Craftsman. It's great (except for the green, which is so not me), but I'm thinking it was a fling. What I really like about this house is the nicer porch and the pushed-back garage, which makes for a nicer parking area. After drooling over it a while, I think those are the things I like best.

I don't have fond memories of Matthew Broderick-accidentally killing two people in Ireland. He was young for sure, but I happen to be eating at a restaurant at a lake in Oklahoma where he and Jennifer Grey (I didn't know who she was at the time) were eating also. He stopped at our table and had small talk on his way out. He was drunk as a skunk. A few days later, in 1987 (?) I read about him driving in Ireland on the wrong side of the road and killing two people. People speculated he was drunk, but given his notoriety there probably, he only got away with paying a very low fee for wreckless driving.
